A superb Victorian mahogany pharmacy mirror, dating to circa 1890 and bearing the original “Dispensing Department” panel to the top. Manufactured by the respected makers Phillip Joseph & Sons Ltd, this impressive piece would have originally formed part of a traditional chemist or pharmacy interior.
Featuring a substantial mahogany frame with a deep moulded cornice and plinth base, the mirror retains its period character and commercial heritage. The original mirror plate displays age-related foxing and wear consistent with its age, adding to its authentic Victorian charm.
An exceptional decorative and historical piece, ideal for use in a period interior, retail display, barbershop, restaurant, or as a striking statement mirror within the home.
